I don't remember the exact age I was when I found out I have Scoliosis, but I know it was in between third and fourth grade. My spine was curving into what looked like an 's'.  I wore a back brace for years but it never fixed the problem. I hated wearing it. Every time I got a check up it needed to be tightened and I only had under-shirts that had ridges which dug into my skin. When I was in seventh grade (before October) the curve was fifty-three degrees, a few from never being able to be fixed.
